For more than 17 years, Dwight has been helping sellers and buyers navigate the ups and downs of the Northern Virginia real estate market.

As a Certified Investor Agent Specialist he has helped investors buy, renovate and flip homes when that was profitable during the real estate foreclosure meltdown following the 2008 financial crises. At present, it makes more sense for investors to buy and hold they real estate investments as rental property.

Through The Morris Realty Team Property Management, Dwight has aided dozens of clients who wanted a larger home rent their current home for what it takes to cover the mortgage, thus allowing them to purchase the larger home they need while holding on to the smaller home they have as an investment.

He initially managed the rental of my condo knowing my goal was to eventually sell. While I was out of state, he was able to find tenants quickly and handled all of the financials so I received the tenants rent on time every month. Dwight also ensured the property was maintained by being proactive, checking for any potential problems and took care of any unfortunate necessary repairs. Dwight would coordinate with the tenant, insurance company, condo association and contractors/service companies, etc. to resolve any issues. The property was listed on a Friday, by Sunday we had three offers, had a signed contract Sunday night and a closing date 10 days later. While still being out of state, with a tight timeframe Dwight explained everything clearly and thoroughly what needed to be done to make this a painless process.
